Last race event project of this year for State of Art Menswear in Mexico
This year, State of Art had decided to compete with two cars in the Le Mans Classic series, with two of its famous former winners of Le Mans, Gijs van Lennep and Jan Lammers. Event Manager, Frank had the support of
'Classic Car Clinic' owner Koen Weerheijm and his team of engineers, to prepare and maintain the Spyders 550 from the private collection of Albert Westerman.
The results of both drivers and the content of this event can be viewed at the
Le Mans Classic website.
Because the results were so encouraging, State of Art decided that this combination of Frank and Koen again pursue La Carrera Panamericana in Mexico, which State had won earlier in their class in 1999.
The benefits of this decision were that team Jan Lammers/Chris Zegers and team Jeroen Bleekemolen and brother Sebastian became # 2, each team in their own group. Team Han Brouwers/Frank Sorée # 5 in the same group as Jan and Chris.
Among the competitors it was a real battle field.Thirtyfive percent of all participating cars failed due to technical failures or accidents. Fortunately no serious injuries or worse. Even the State teams had experienced several of their own exciting moments and technical problems, but these could all be resolved in time by the service crew (Koen Weerheijm, Fred den Brok, Job Brouwers and Frank van den Bosch).
The day to day report can be read on the State of Art website.
Meanwhile, the achievements had not gone unnoticed by the competitors in the various events this year (GP Nuvolari, Mille Miglia, Coupe des Alpes, Le Mans Classic, La Carrera Panamericana). There are even some who had also the wish to make use of our services in the near future. Are you also interested in full services of your race activities, suchs as administrative preparations, shippings, hotels, car preperation, technical support during the race or VIP facilities, please get in contact with Frank van den Bosch.

POP Evaluation at APC, Manila
Press operators need well-rounded knowledge and skills to perform their job in an efficient and professional way. Just knowing how to push buttons on an offset press is not sufficient. Furthermore, the operating life or state of the machine is also dependent on the proper operational handling of the press operator. Process knowledge and the ability to analyze and solve problems are needed nowadays to be a "professional" press operator. The Asian Printmedia Consultancy Group now offers a program to test the knowledge and abilities of a press operator through the Press Operator Proficiency (POP) Evaluation. We developed this assesment program to determine if operators have the required skills and knowledge. More >>>

This year no Grafic Art propositions, but pure logistic and race/rally service cases for Frank van den Bosch.
His enthusiasm for classic cars and his experience as a logistic manager, gave him the opportunity to do these jobs.
After doing Monza and Silverstone for SRO, organizer of the FIA GT championship 2008, he again serviced the rally team of State of Art Menswear, this time at the Mille Miglia, Italie.
The mission was to take both of their racing cars, Porsche Spyders 550, to one of the most important historic racing events in Italy and to support both cars within their serviceteam. A marvelous experience for all who were involved, both competitors and serviceteam members (a.o. www.kobustuning.nl and Bob Hahn, classic Porsches specialist ).
As Frank just has returned of the Coupe des Alpes rally, servicing five State of Art teams together with Peter Chatelain (www.pchatelain.com), the next goal is to prepair a succesfull weekend at the Le Mans Classic, next july 11-13th, where the spyder 550's will be present again.

As an Information Analist, Frank van den Bosch has been working out a proposal for a totally new designed workflow for primarily the Business Extracts, which are until now printed on the desks of all Dutch Chambers of Commerce. The solution is based on the concept 'input once, output many', the main principe of cross media publishing.
Based on his analysis to the current Business Extracts proces flows, B.E.'s can be bought at one of the Chambers, through phone or at its website, he came to the conclusion that the present workflows were dated and based on single media channeling. He therefor suggested a multi channel media solution. Because of the generic design, an expansion to other documents is easily to be realized. The annual reduce of costs are nearly the same as development costs. At the moment the Central Chamber of Commerce is considering the workout of this solution.

Bert Teljeur visits Printing House Novaya in Astrakhan (Russian Federation)
In April 2006 Bert Teljeur did a project in the deep south of the Russian Federation.
Astrakhan is located at the delta of the Wolga near the Caspian See.
The purpose of the visit was to advice them on production improvements, organisation and marketing.
Bert was happely suprised that the company, machines and equipment where in a good shape. It showed nice and clean, comparing with earlier visits to others in the East of Europe. Aldo the people did not have a certain ground of Graphic Arts education, they were very aware of the critical points in the production process.
Most of the support was needed by the management in making clear what their aims where and how to achieve these. Of course they want high profit, but how to realise this? Bert had many positive discussions about setting standards and price calculations. Making time frames for each step in this process.
So after one week Bert finalized this project by giving a presentation on the problems that they are facing and the possibilities and solutions. The management did agree, but realized the amount of work they have to go through. By providing them the guiding lines how to do so, they are now able to make their business plans for the near future.
One example on how Printmedia can help companies on short notice, by screening your plant and do suggestions wherever needed en whenever wanted.
