Velprint Corporation is a printing company that specializes in high-end printing. The company specializes in printing magazines, coffee table books, brochures, calendars and others. The company is aiming on providing only the best quality and services to its customers. The company is already ISO 9000 certified and is always looking to improve their quality and services even more by pushing themselves to their limits.

To realize that, they recently work with Printmedia Global Solutions on a training and consultancy project that will ensure an even higher and more consistent quality. Management understands that only through training of the workforce, constant monitoring and improving their processes; it is possible to meet the growing demands for quality of their customers.
Together with Printmedia Global Solutions a program was set up which will make it possible for Velprint Corporation to work according the new international standards for offset printing, the ISO 12647-2 standard. To be able to meet the growing quality expectations of local as well as international clients, it is necessary to prepare a company for these expectations. Velprint Corporation realizes this and was willing to invest in a major training program.
And the result can be seen! During the project the already high quality of the products of Velprint corporation have become even better. This shows clearly that the management knew what output is needed to impress its toughest competitors and customers. They have printed the first ISO verified (certified) sheet for one of their demanding clients.

August 2005; Trainings project Transprint Corporation, Manila, Philippines
Printmedia Global Solution carried out a unique training program for Transprint Corporation in Manila, Philippines. The total duration of the project was 2 months and was carried out in June and July 2005. Target of the project was to upgrade the knowledge and skills of the operators and helps of the printing department. To achieve this, Printmedia Global Solutions set up a program which was a mix of theoretical background training and practical implementation in the printing department. The program was set up in close consultation with the management of Transprint Corporation and based on the actual needs of the company.
The group of trainees consist of 8 operators and helps, 2 supervisors and 1 manager who followed the whole program. Depending on the topic, other employees of the company also joined the training sessions. The program was set up in such a way that it did not interfere with the daily work in the company.
During the training program, the trainees where evaluated on their knowledge and skills. This was done through test papers to evaluate the theoretical knowledge and through practical assignments to evaluate the implementation in daily practice. All participants passed the evaluation and therefore were awarded with a certificate of Printmedia Global Solutions.
